Businesses impact virtually the entire spectrum of internationally recognized human rights, from their workforce to the communities they serve.
The UN Global Compact's Business & Human Rights Accelerator is a six-month programme activating companies participating in the UN Global Compact across industries and regions. The objective is to help businesses swiftly move from commitment to action on human rights and labour rights through establishing an ongoing human rights due diligence process.
We invite you to register for our virtual live Q&A session on 30 October at 9 a.m. CET to help you better understand the inner workings of the Accelerator, what you can expect to learn and achieve and provide answers to any other questions you might have.
As a special initiative of the United Nations Secretary-General, the UN Global Compact is a call to companies worldwide to align their operations and strategies with Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. Our ambition is to accelerate and scale the global collective impact of business by upholding the Ten Principles and delivering the Sustainable Development Goals through accountable companies and ecosystems that enable change. With more than 20,000 companies based in over 160 countries, and more than 60 Global Compact Country Networks, it is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world.
